The day takes a lot of help and partnering with other groups to go from planning, organization, ticket selling, ordering food and supplies, acquiring locations to prepare, delivery and shipping, prepping food, assembly of meals, accounting, and then providing the awards.

On October 6, 2009, Horner publically thanked Lefty McIntyre at a Rotary Club meeting for raising over $2,000 during the Take-Out Dinner sales.

Lefty has been our club's salesman since he has transferred from Maine.

At 8am sharp on September 6 members of the Rotary Club began the task of meat cutting at the Penn State Meat Lab.  The two pictured below left to right--Earl Merritt and Gary Peterson began the day-long process that ultimately ended at 6pm with the final ticket collection and distribution of meals. Remaining food stuffs were donated to local charities. Thanks to all who participated.
